Hello and welcome

I design contemporary needlework patterns incorporating mainly hand embroidery, appliqué and home sewing. And I bring out a quarterly hand embroidery publication called The Stitch and Thimble, with five projects in each issue that are quick and easy to stitch and make up - great for handmade gifts, items for your home or when you just want a smaller project to work on.

My ultimate intention is to help keep the art of needlework alive and evolving by coming up with fresh, contemporary designs as well as functional applications for those designs as often as possible. And my embroidery patterns make full use of the vast array of stitches out there, as well as a few I've adapted or reworked along the way.
